Branding Identity design

I created this logo for a spiritual leader to brand her products. It was used in branding for speaking engagements, published books, the website and more. The concept of transformation was paramount for her, symbolizing spiritual awakening.  The monarch butterfly represented this with its transformation from caterpillar to a bright, flying beauty.

Achieving realism was the challenge.  I created it manually, using Illustrator and referencing a photo. After creating the vector and gradients, it was customized to the customer's taste.   In the end, it was exactly what the client wanted. The website we created, continued with that theme.
