This logo was created for a small company that provided satellite phones and service.  Their clients were people and companies that visited obscure areas where reception can only be achieved by satellite means. Clients ranged from extreme travel and sports buffs to high profile CEOs. The company needed a recognizable logo that connoted the nature of its business easily and one that resonated with people regardless of location or occupation.
